Large, Hairy & Literate, Thursday, January 14th, 5-8pm

I was going to just post about how awesome ZAPP is on an ongoing basis, but then I saw that they are being especially awesome right now. This harmonizes with a wonderful call I made to the universe for the world of the Sasquatch to overlap with mine. So, let's see what happens when we combine two of the most amazing species on earth: The Yeti and The Zinester!

ZAPP is upstairs at

Large, Hairy and Literate

Local artists and zinesters David Lasky, Kinoko, Kelly Froh, Greg Hofmann and Darin Shuler, among others, offer their takes on the myth of Bigfoot at Large, Hairy & Literate, a group exhibit presented by ZAPP in conjunction with Blitz!: Capitol Hill’s Art Walk, on Thursday, January 14, 5-8 p.m.

  1. It's a great show. I'm sitting here now surrounded by zines and Sasquatch. Be sure to ask for a free copy of Violet B. Fox's zine made just for the show: "A Brief Cross-Cultural Study of the Etymology and History of the North American Sasquatch; or, How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Bigfoot."
